England 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.2 SC V8 Zambezi Silver

Just got my '06 model and disappointed in the the loudness from my Ipod via the Aux socket - it just isn't very loud Sad I've got the Ipod on full volume but it's really quite compared to the CD.

Any ideas how I can get it louder? Gavin

2015 Range Rover Autobiography TDV6 Santorini Black

Just posted for earlier topic. THis is the wrong lead see example below

I have experienced low volumes with both RR and BMW aux connections - Cure ? Purchase an ipod specific in line connector

As already posted if you use the headphone jack in an ipod the ipod assumes this is to headphones and uses the ipods own amplification.

If you connect using the ipod multi plug on the base of the ipod this a line out source PRE the ipods own amplification. This is treated by the car as any other signal and therefore you should get absolutley no difference in volume from the ipod source or the CD !! Worked for me on 2 cars and the quality of the sound is terrific

It's interesting to see what the outcome is here as the signal being outputted by the headphone o/p from the ipod will (going out on a limb here) be higher than that from the base connector (presuming the signal from the multipin base connector is line level....
