United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black

I'm not totally qualified to comment seeing as I'm still looking for a FF

However - a guy I work with has a TDV6 sport, and I've driven it a bit along with quite a few FFs. The sport feels quite cramped inside, not a great ride, seats aren't very comfy, there's the knowledge it's actually a disco, boot's not very big, looks a bit footballer-ish, interior is quite plastic-oriented... the list goes on

The FF however is massive inside, fantastic seats (on the vogue/autobiography), lovely interior, big boot, classier, better ride - I'd buy the FF just on the basis that it is a proper Range Rover and not pretending to be something else, never mind the other reasons

I also think the sport looks a bit like a P38, i had one for a while and it certainly looks similar to me anyway

All the reasons I test drove a new Sport for an hour, then went and bought a two year old FFRR.
Coming up from a regular car, the Sport is nice. Same cramped interior and plastic etc... but the problem is once you go for the FF version what do you get next ?!?

The only thing I don't like on the 07 onwards FFRR is the seats. Earlier ones were more comfortable. For the value of the vehicle the seats on the FFRR are no longer good enough. Roll on 2012.

Have this morning done a test drive in a 4.4 TDV8, and needless to say I am very disappointed

I was missing the video editing tools to create some nice footage whilst driving, so that was a big big minus there.

But all the rest was great, very impressed of the engine, not like my XKR, but for such a heavy car its good enough, and it’s even economical Laughing

Very nice drive, a much more refined/luxurious car compared to the RRS as many al have said here, and indeed it is a different league again, the RRS is still a great car too, but different.

The good news is that I am allowed to buy the RR from my wife if the boot is bigger, and I see it is a good 33 liters bigger, pffewww. RRS TDV6 08
XKR 600+ BHP with Twin-screw and LSD
