Remote Locking not working - 2 Button key

2006 Model Year Japanese spec 4.2 SC with a two button key 315Mhz

I have tried normal key sync proceedure but it will not work.

So does anyone know if there is a special way to sync the two button keys?

Done a bit more research on Japan spec keys which apparently use an Infra Red system but key sync procedure is supposed to be the same.

The keys infra red is working so maybe the sensor at fault or BCM
