Is it just me or do you think JLR are slowly trying to ditch the name "Land Rover"?

Seems like most new models are now Range Rover [insert unrelated model name here!]  2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey

^ I'm definitely finding that most "laypeople" that I talk to these days refer to the entire family of Land Rover vehicles as "Range Rovers". I've even heard non-Land Rover folk asking how expensive it was servicing the vehicle at the "Range Rover dealership".

It's entirely possible that Jaguar Land Rover already know this and are simply capitalizing on the "Range Rover" name, now that it is more synonymous with their entire vehicle lineup than the proper "Land Rover" nomenclature. 2010 RR SC
