well all installed.
front door (right) with LED and back (left) without.
LED on on the right is clearly brighter.

and a close up on the front door which shows some dots in the colour? or is it just my eyes being burn from installing at night without a good torch.
nb.
a) the flat screwdriver slides in from the side and stays horizontal to prise out.
b) first two installed ok but passenger front door new bulb kept coming back out (didn't lock - had visions of the hassle to return it), put the second bulb in and it worked fine, took the previous bulb and put in the back passenger door and now it worked fine. So if a bulb doesn't lock in one door try another.
c) perhaps i should have chosen blue ...
