Vsr symptoms?

Hi all - quick question I see a lot on here about vsr but no specific symptoms - does it misfire occasionally on all cylinders or just some just a bank or both those kind of things. Has it ever happened on a non lpg car? Cheers Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

Are you talking about Voltage Sensing Relays ? In relation to what ?

If not, when using acronyms, explain what they are to help the uninitiated Twisted Evil .

Never seen this (in the many cars I've owned) - the only thing I can think of that could cause the valve seat the deteriorate/recess is either the wrong fuel or spark plug (i.e the burn is incorrect), but never seen it personally.

I have seen it and experienced it on a AJ Engine running LPG , these MUST have the addition valve saver fluid dosing system fitted due to the cam being fixed shimmed, this does not apply to other engines with hydraulic lifters as they automatically adjust to the valve seat wear, but the jag engines have softer seats and fixed bucket style shims for the cam.
