Airbag light

Went to drive the car on Sunday for the first time in a few weeks. Drove fine apart from the airbag light (red) being on.

Plugged in the IID and got this message.

Anyone know what this is?

EDIT: It’s a 2007 L322.

Thanks, I’ll try a battery reset when I’m home again.

I doubt it’s anything broken as the car has only been driven about 10 metres around the drive lately and it wasn’t on when I parked it up.

I’ve had it a few times in the past, Allcomms cleared it for me after a bit of trying. I too had to disconnect mine.

OP, if you don’t know the procedure for disconnecting the battery then make sure you look that up and follow that and keep in mind the battery disconnect unit is a pyrotechnic charge, apologies if you know all that

Thanks. I’m not too good with electrics but I think there’s a wiki on it so I’ll follow that

I didn't have to disconnect the battery just the yellow plug near the battery and that solved the problem

I was scared the pyro charge would go off I did that but it probably only goes off if it gets a switched live or earth from SRS

Only just getting round to this now. So do I need to disconnect the battery entirely before I unplug and clean the yellow plug?

I’ve been following the guide in this picture which seems great until I get to point 6.

However on mine I don’t have this plug, I just have a positive lead running through the bulkhead with no connector.

Any idea if no can therefore just ignore this step and jump ahead to disconnecting the battery?

If I’m just going to loosen the positive terminal but at step 6 but not remove then is there any need to do it at all? Can I just disconnect the yellow plug once the negative is removed?
