United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Stornoway Grey
Just got my new Range Rover - Few questions!!

Hi all, just got my 2005 Range Rover 4.4 Vogue. Love it to bits!! Few questions tho:

1) Sat Nav - I can't put in the destination whilst driving. Can this be changed?
2) Is the cd changer MP3 compatible? Denso Navigation touch screen model
3) Do the Brembo calipers off the supercharger fit straight on?

Cheers all Very Happy Used to have:
2005 FFRR 4.4 Vogue - BRC LPG Conversion & Remapped

Now have:
2008 SSRR 3.6 TDV8 - HSE and plenty of toys

Congratulations, sorry I can't answer your questions, but I'm sure one of the experts will be along shortly, enjoy your new purchase, and best of luck with it! Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

Congratulations...I can only answer the first question and it's a disappointing No.

Your dealer can activate it so you can change whilst driving but it will cost over £100 I believe.

Even if Bembos fit on, your wheels may not fit over them.

The rest of the answers will follow.......

Enjoy, be safe. Current MY2020

Destination on the move - use the *SEARCH* facility on the site (hint - try tv on the move)
2006 had MP3 - not sure about 2005 - try it. The worst that will happen is you'll hear a lot of screeching!
Brembos? Why ... the 4.4 brakes are good enough, and a much cheaper to replace pads on! Think it's an expensive task for no real gain. Land Rover Addict

if it has touchscreen nav you can use MP3 CD's.

and the sat nav on the move is a software upgrade by the dealers.

They need just the IDS system. If you ever will be in Switzerland I think I can do it for you.

regards

Ah I have the Ford IDS system, unfortunately it doesn't have the LR system.

Thanks for the tip on tv on the move. Completely missed that one, and it's a sticky.

It was more curious on the Brembos to be honest. I have been offered some from a pal, so thought why not Smile Used to have:

2005 cars with touch screen can play MP3 CDs.

dealer can change the nav input on the move but will charge you.

Brembos should fit, costly though I'd have thought? Worth it? Discovery 4 HSE

What kind of IDS do you have? you may just need the correct DVD with the LR software..

Then you can do it by yourself..

Have the full Ford IDS system. Got lots of OEM diagnostics, but never had much call for LR or Jag so never invested. Then I brought mine Smile

Thanks for the info on MP3's. Going to try tommorrow.

Worked out the TV hack and trying the Nav tommorrow which will be great.

Offered full Brembos with discs and pads for £400 which I thought fair?

Remapping it shortly too, then facelift. Used to have:

Congrats on your purchase!

Noticed 'Remapped' in your signature, i wasn't aware this was possible on the 4.4?
