if i rememeber correctly you can get the SC off by only disconnecting the hoses going to the rad assembly up on top.

I took the supercharger off without taking the thermostat housing off the front, however at this point I had a slightly smaller front pulley. Range Rover Vogue SE 2007 L322 4.2 Supercharged 121k. Engine rebuilt @ 120666 Miles
