Have you checked all the bolts are tight and for any play anywhere? |

Yes all bolts tight, noise seems to be as the steps close near the brakets. |

Mine have done this occasionally and they are leads than 6 months old.

Yes only had mine on 6 months, I have been told it may be the key wedge that has already worn, they are in the folding arms of the steps. may be able to adjust them but more likely steps need to come off and fit new ones if I can get them. |

bought from Duckworths but fitted by myself, not sure about how that effects warranty. |

My passenger one has started clunking slightly. Can't see any reason for it - it's almost as though it's trying to extend and retract slightly beyond it's limits. 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE |

Sounds like they'll be covered by warranty, will just have to send back to LR and see.
