See if the front of the engine is wet, that’s down where the aux belt and pulleys are. That’s generally a front crankshaft oil seal. If it’s dry then the oil cooler can leak and if it hasn’t been done before it will need doing at some point. Another common area is the two o rings that go on the oil cooler feed pipe.

It's worth checking that the steering rack isn't leaking. Mine went in for a supposed diff leak but it turned out to be the rack. |

Looking at the pics again, I’d start at the front. Oil blows back as you drive, so if there’s oil at the front, it’s likely to have come from the front. |
