sat nav discs

My old 2004 Vogue has its original head unit, the screen is the early non touch screen model. The sat nav is working and I do not want to change the screen or anything else other than getting more up to date maps. The disc in the car is I assume the one that came with the car when new. Can I simply buy a 2018/2019 disc and "shove it in " the unit?
Main reason for doing this is to avoid the problems caused by an out of date disc that doesnt recognise new roads, new towns etc. I currently use my garmin unit, stuck on the cars screen! Thats never right is it!!!!!!!!!
Any advice on how and where to source a new disc would be much appreciated.

firstly, any links or ref to discs that are not official landrover discs are not allowed due to forum rules..

secondly, yes these discs are available on ebay and will/should work in yours...
