A few days into ownership of my new (to me) 2010 3.6 Vogue SE and I've noticed the Bluetooth is pretty terrible!

Very crackly sound played out, and no real depth to the sound, so not great at all.

Is there any way to improve this - is it a known issue? The searches I've done seem to indicate it really is.

It could be water ingress affecting it. If you haven’t done so already then check behind the nearside cover in the boot. It’s not uncommon for water to leak onto the electronics behind there and that’s where your Bluetooth module lives. 2006MY 4.2 SC
