Standard key or after market flip key ? Had something similar when I got a flip key and the chip wasnt quite near enough the coil on the switch to pick it up. |

My steering went heavy after 1 of the interior leds went pop and i mean just one of the tiny smd on one bulb it sent the canbus network off down the swany.....cleared its self and was ok the next day |

Yes it is a original key I don't really understand how this could happen I have a diagram of the mechanism in front of me and it shouldn't be possible. |
