I tow a trailer moving cars all day , when the engine is working hard going up a hill it suddenly hesitates, as if I've taken my foot off the gas a little. It doesn't stop or misfire , after about 4 to five seconds it kicks back in again . It also happens when not towing too but not as noticeable.

I had the exact same problem with my TD6. Turns out the Intercooler hose that goes from the Turbo to the Intercooler had come loose (due to a rusted clip). Very easy to change if you have the Fan shroud and viscous fan already removed. You should be able to get a visual look at it pretty easily, just make sure it's nice and snug and flush with the intercooler. Mine was loose and about 2 centimetres from the intercooler.

If that ends up being your problem too let me know and I can send you some pictures/parts that fixed it for me

I've had a look and it's the top intercooler hose split , oil has covered powered steering resivior and fuel filter and all those areas , ordered a new one so hopefully that'll cure the hesitation .
