Park Heating.... Option or Standard (2007MY)

Hi... newbie here!
Has anybody got to the bottom of the Park Heating Standard / Option question?

I am looking at a 2007MY TDV8 on whcih the specification list shows Park Heating, however, the dealer is saying the the previous owner never had the PH on the vehicle.

I know it is standard on 2010MY vehicles (managed to find a full list of options / standard items for 2010) but wondered if anybody knew if it was standard on 2007MY vehicles?

Or even where I could find a standard / options list for 2007MY

Any help would be great.....
Confused

If you download Microcat it will give you the build list for your car or perspective car - you just need the reg. This will tell you every option that was ticked.

All Dervs do have the Aux Heater from 2002+ to make this a park heater I believe is just a "soft" option? ie is set by the stealer in the software.

All TDV8s have the park heating.

However, control by means of a remote keyfob is an option. If you don't have the keyfob, you can still operate it manually or on a timer.

My TDV8 (MY2007) did not have the park heating (as confirmed on the spec). So it may be they were standard on UK cars but certainly not all TDV8s had it.

Many thanks for all of your replies. I have spoken to the dealer today and it appears that the heating is standard but the remote contraol was an option and therefore is not fitted.

The heater can still be controlled from the centre control unit.

Phew.... not too fussed about the remote control.
