At last the itch is scratched , I have just bought an early (63 plate 2013) 4.4L AB. Because its a Diesel my trips to the garage will be halved. It improves on my L322 in just about every department except performance (L322 was 5.0L S/C) and it has lots of toys some of which I am still discovering, it has selectable lighting, soft close doors, keyless entry, lots of camera's, 22" turbines, deployable steps, deployable tow bar, electric tailgate, fridge, lots of carpet, lots of creamy leather, full length opening sunroof and the audio and connectivity are much improved. I guess some of the things (maybe all) are standard on newer ABs but it's great. I didn't like the tinted rear windows but like Guinness they are growing on me. Geoff |

If it wasn't raining I'd spend a bit of time smartening up and sorting my L322 prior to offering it for sale this weekend (its already is on here) - still bits of "housework" to do sorting reg transfer, tax and insurance was aiming for Jun 1st but that's a bit optimistic so it might be July. I don't really want to have tax and insurance running on both cars so may SORN one and drive the other while the paperwork takes its course. I can always remove the rear light of the new car to sort out the condensation as most of that will be done indoors. Geoff |
