I’ve just bought a used but very good condition armature with twin electrics. Upon inspection before fitting I’ve noticed that the relay and relay holder / socket is missing.

The question is does anyone know what the relay and holder part numbers are? I’ve looked all over and can only find them referenced as part of the larger loom kit, but not specifically. I should be able to find a holder that’s suitable but the relay is stumping me.

Could someone have a look and take the part numbers / specs down for me?

The relay is just a standard automotive relay the later ones were actually mini automotive relays.

After years of fitting towing electrics to other car makes and having to have a relay to make sure things like the fridge and battery were getting charge, I was sure that the relay had to be a beefier unit..... ______________________________

Does anyone have any idea as to the amps for this relay... I’ve been looking at 40 amp relays but they go up to 80 amps. ______________________________

From memory it is 30a, can’t check at the minute as away in the caravan and not used the FF for towing duties. The relay is only switching the ign feed on the 12s socket and I don’t think that is rated for more than 25amps.
