Hi all, been an owner of various RRs including an L322, RRS 2.7 tdv6 and a RRS 4.2 supercharged.

Just joined your forum as I’ve just collected my MY14 L405 4.4 SDV8. All I can say is wow ! It blow my others out of the water !!!

History tells me it’s always worth being a member of a good forum as I never know when I’ll need some sound advice, but hopefully not too often !

One thing, can the deployable side steps be turned off ?

Yes they can. In my 2011 there is a switch in the sync
Roof panel above (on the right hand side) which should switch them off. There is a guide In The owners manual

Switch is in front of your right knee when your in the drivers seat... Where the boot release button is... Get in and close all doors, Ign on, don't start engine, press and hold button for 5-10 seconds and the light will flash and voila! Steps off

Hi I’ve found the switch near my knee but it doesn’t light up when I press it ?

Had ingition on with doors closed too ?

Just read on google I need to hold the button in then start the car ?

Don’t start the engine! Just switch ignition on. 2016 SDV8 AB

Yeah tried that mate but when I press it, nothing happens ?

It takes about 10 seconds of holding!

Ignition on
Doors shut
Held it in for over 25 seconds
Nothing ???
