Head rest removal

Could someone describe how to remove the front seat headrests (with the entertainment screens fitted), please.

I did read read somewhere they are removed by pulling upward firmly, but my “firmly” isn’t working.

Are the entertainment headrests special?? 2007 3.6 TDV8
