Noisy Suspension

Earlier this week my Westie's suspension started squeaking and groaning. Nothing gradual, not there one day, there the next and seems to be getting worse as the week goes on.

Seems to be related to steering sometimes but now quite obvious even on relatively smooth roads every time i drive it. It passed an MOT last month so I'd be surprised if a load of rubber bushes have just decided to fail this week!!

I'm going to get under and have a look over the weekend but any thoughts from the collective??

Cheers

Thanks Stan, it's certainly very squeaky full right hand lock so i'll check the lower arms first.

I'm assuming you had yours done under warranty?

Well, it was the lower arms that were knackered, especially the right hand one.

In the past would have done them myself but being in the middle of installing ufh and fitting a kitchen and flooring just wasn't going to happen so booked it in to www.Gumtree4x4.co.uk in Ditchling. Great guys and did a good job, also did my front brakes and a rattling exhaust shield so would recommend them Thumbs Up

Will be going back again soon I'm sure (well it is a fattie after all Whistle ) 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography

This is good to know, I think mine is suffering from the same - I'll get it done anyway. Geoff
