When i open the boot the rear tailgate does not flap down automatically but will close in the same motion is this a common bug with something catching or needs tweaking ?

On mine when I push the button on the upper hatch or use the button on the dashboard only the upper half opens. If they are both open, mine like yours closes both parts, if I use the key to open the tailgate both sections open and I thought that was how it operated. Cheers Ian

Mine only opens the top part using the internal buttons, the actually boot buttons and the key, maybe this is also year specific, a 2013 like mine also has all the switches to move the front seats whilst sat in the rear however when you roll the rear seats down using the boot buttons unlike this 2014 onwards it doesn’t move the two front seats forward to allow the head rest to pass, and that’s the design they never updated the 2013 software so maybe the boot operations the sae

Key remote = both open
Dash button = top only
Tailgate button = top only
