Scotland 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black
Rear flexi brake pipes

Finally got round to replacing the discs and pads on the car I brought about 9 months ago, before I purchased it an mot was done and failed on both rear brake pipes, I was happy thinking some poor Censored had changed the metal pipes but I was wrong and after getting the wheel off found this?

I’ve worked on a few Range Rovers but never seen this ( until this morning 😁) has anyone come across this before? the pipe is rubbing on the shock absorber and on the top wishbone and air bag, needless to say I’ve ordered two new rear pipes.

Can’t make out while the metal brake pipes did not fail or advised on as the are not good

So got that off my chest and now for the joy of replacing the metal brake pipes while I wait for the flexi one to arrive.
