Hi Guys

i have a drip of gearbox oil coming from a preformed small hole in the underside of the gearbox casing, i have been informed that this is probably a sign that the main shaft seal is leaking and to get at this seal the transfer box is removed which will allow access to the main box seal ?

is this correct, and if so is it a big job to drop the transfer box ?, just so i can get an idea of the cost
