L322 bodywork compared to younger L405s

Starting the preparation for sale of the L322 TDV8 and after a couple of squirts of products the paintwork looks to be in better shape than several of the 13/14/15 plate L405s viewed over the last few weeks, a sad state of affairs.






One of the L405s seen recently:





This L405 was up for top money but the bonnet was banging off the door.

The paintwork seems as durable on both to me, it's more likely people not looking after them. MD sellers are unlikely to correct to your standards. When we were looking they tended to wait to see what remedial work we were asking for before deciding what, if any, they would do.
