folding mirror hits window trim

Think ive asked before,

but my passenger side wing mirror hits the rubber window trim when folding?

Ive tried resetting it by quickly pressing the fold in/out button but to no avail?

Cant be the only one who has this? Does it mean i have to buy a new one? Regards

Daz

Mine does the same on both sides. Never been an issue for me. There is usually bigger things to repair/spend money on.
Would like to know if there is a way to correct. Jon

+1 with Stan

and you have.

Search and I think you'll find some info re the microswitches becoming out of alignment/bent/loose or something similar. Cheers
