[Wanted] 2016 or 2017 Autobiography wanted

Well after a long sabbatical driving a Transporter Bus I’ve decided it’s high tide to return to the green oval.

Since I’ve already had a sport and a disco I feel the need to sample the pure opulence of a FFRR.

I think I’ve narrowed my search down to getting a diesel Autobiography and should be able to afford a 2016/2017 car.

I’m sure I’ll end up having to buy from the dealers at that age but thought I’d check if advance if any of you here were about to upgrade to a newer car and going with cash might get you a better deal while at the same time save me some money over paying dealer prices.

I prefer the darker colours but the car must have a black interior.

Fingers crossed

Daz 2008 RRS HST - loved the car from 6 months old until a few years old
2009 Disco HSE - nice and practical alternative when I needed the space.
VW T5 Transporter - mid life crisis perhaps
2017 FFRR 4.4AB - best car I’ve ever owned

It’s a great looking car and nice mileage but my wife really dislikes light interiors I’m afraid. 2008 RRS HST - loved the car from 6 months old until a few years old

I'm also looking for a car of similar age and was shocked when I compared the 'buy' price from the dealer compared to the 'sell' price of the same car from the same dealer, there was almost £21,000.00 difference on a 17 plate AB car.....

at least Dick Turpin wore a mask .....

I feel that some stealers just take the ‘we buy any car price’ and think they can get away with that. WBAC are pricing sight unseen, and the dealers benefit from often knowing a well maintained car and have another sale and services

I’m thinking about chopping mine in , but frankly can’t face the grief with the price process, never mind about the SWMBO sulk that follows.. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...

Hi Bushy30. That's weird my post has gone. I may have created issues for the FF team by replying to the OP that my car is in the market. Sorry if that's happened, wasn't intentional. Mines the one with an SVO grill but the original is still with the car too. Just upgraded to an SVAd. Both are great cars. IMHO SDV8's are one hell of a car full stop. At the current prices they are incredible value too. Can't say that for the SVAd, but it maybe in three years time when I come to sell it...!.

Possibly because you haven't posted enough to advertise -- you can't even PM (I don't think) -- the OP will still have no idea where to find your vehicle.................. Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
