I have the RSE and as much as I like the integrated side of it for shear versatility I would do this in future ,

Alistair is bang on, we now use iPads with loads of stuff downloaded , they each have Bluetooth headphones too. Our last big journey was awesome, not a peep from the rear

I'm tempted to do something like this as my DVD player is u/s and the TV reception is awful.

Aha, I've just started playing with that on my home network. Didn't realise you could download with it.

I don't have RSE, didn't want it, as i have have a couple in the past cars. Ended up using a Samsung tablet with 32GB card. It stores enough movies, tv shows etc. And if they have a few games on them that they enjoy, even better. Still gets used if the youngest (19) comes with us. Better than the odd grunt or looking at his phone all the time.

Depends on your definition of big problem..... It's fixed size when you buy it & can't be changed or expanded later. It's also relatively expensive at the time of purchase. So you need to make sure you buy the right model for your needs. |

Indeed, I use my old ipad pro with decent memory, plus you can download from Netflix & amazon prime too, very handy that is. |
