First rule of trolley jacking and in fact working under or lifting any vehicle. Axle Stands. Preferably 3 tonne ratchet ones that lock and not held on a pin.

I've got a Snap ON 3 TONNE one, and a Sealey 3 Tonne trolley jacks. Both identical, and both will lift the SC off the deck completely! Tony

I recently bought a Halfords 3 Ton trolley jack.

Lifts my Full Fat to a good height, is well built and cost around the £50 mark.

I second the SGS TJ3 mentioned above. Only just got it and although I haven't used it yet it's a beast and has a very high lift of 520mm. I bought the pack which came with two 6 tonne (each) axle stands.
