On a brighter note Mrs T has decided on an area at last and it is to be within 20 km of Sarlat and possibly a flat in either Arcachon or Frejus

To be honest it is my own fault I haven't had any before and know where most of the static cameras are and of course they put the sign up about 3 to 400m before hand just didn't think they would follow up at least I know for next trip |

My brother has just received his fine from when he came out on his motorbike last October. So it seems they do catch up with you eventually.

If French resident and you still have a UK licence they can require you to change to a French one after an offence involving points. However, anecdotally, they don't always pursue that for one point. John

This last trip 225E so far - I have heard they are thinking about having a virtual licence for UK residents where points will be stored ??? seems like the are really going to have a go
