A pillar outside trim

Hi all

How 'should' the A-pillar outer trim be affixed? Should there be clips? The LH trim on mine has pealed away at the top. It has been stuck on with double sided gummy tape.... I suspect it's had a replacement screen at some point in its history. Anyway, rather than it fly off never to be seen again I'd like to get it back in place and pref as it's supposed to be held on. Thanks Thumbs Up

It is glued. This is how it is removed/refitted:

Thank you much appreciated. Yes it looks like whoever was here before me just chose the wrong adhesive tape... which loosens when wet. I’ll strip it all off, IPA and restock with 3M tape. πŸ‘πŸ»

You are welcome. I'm wondering myself if the trim has to be removed for windshield replacement...

I did some digging, apparently not. So unless damaged it’s good to stay πŸ‘πŸ»
