So I’ve posted a few things about this stupid fuel burning heater lately but it’s driving me mad lol.

I hate having something on a car that doesn’t work as it should. But I’m so confused by this thing.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I should be able to come downstairs for my breakfast, point my fob out the window and hold the on button for 2 seconds which then will make the green light continuously blink on the fob, make the led on the auto knob in the cabin flash and the fuel burning heater will come on and run for 20 mins in which time the cabin will be heated.

Simple right. ....

After doing a 300 mile round trip twice to get drop off and collect the car the thing still not working as it should.

I turned it on This morning stood next to the wheel arch. I smelt diesel and I saw white smoke and even felt warm air from the exhaust but after just a few minutes it does one of two things

1. Shuts down completely all noises finished
2. Seems to turn off the burning side of things and still run a fan? I can hear buzzing and blowing noise but no roar of a fire

When it does number 2 the green light on the fob is still flashing. Also if I get in the car and drive away to work say, when I get out at work the green light is still flashing?! Shouldn’t this turn off when engine is started?

After running it for the 1st time this morning and it turned off after a few minutes, naturally I tried it again it... I did this 3 or 4 times and sometimes I could hear the roar of the burn but the auto light in the cabin was NOT flashing?

Is it me lol?

Also after I drove to work this morning which is 1 mile from my house I got out got my bag from the boot and locked the car up when I heard the heater running .. out my hand under the fbh exhaust and it was blowing warm air?! I listened to it and it shut off after 35 ish seconds.

I have no clue what’s going on with it. It seems like it does work but isn’t carrying out it’s correct times operation? Regards
