I had to scratch the 405 itch which is the only reason i am parting with this. Been a gem of a car and in some ways still better than the car i have replaced it with.

I am the 3rd owner and have owned the car for last 3 years. I bought the car approved used from Land Rover Knutsford and has been under LR Warranty the whole time and any work undertaken on the car has been at my local main dealer.

Full LR Service History with last service 17/09/2018 Inspection 2 and MOT same day.

2 keys and remote for park heater.

Usual Vogue SE Spec plus factory rear seat entertainment with remote control and 2 sets of headphones, detachable tow bar ( i have never towed anything only used for a bike rack).

Its a really nice well looked after car having just covered 85322 miles there is still plenty of life left. The car drives really well. Externally body work is very good. There are 2 small blemishes i want to mention, 1 on the corner of the bonnet, and the other on the corner of a rear door. They are minor and i think they are as a result of small chips rather than rust. I haven't touched these as i wanted the car to be honest. Had a price from my local bodyshop of £300 to correct so not a major issue. I have highlighted this on photos. Tyres are around 3mm so will need replacing in Spring. These are minor points but want to be completely upfront. I must stress this is a very good car.

The car has wanted for nothing. I am selling with the standard 20inch style 11 wheels on which are unmarked. I have taken a couple of photos with the car wearing genuine 22in Overfinch Supersport wheels. These have just been refurbished (had very light paint blemishes. Never cracked or repaired and bought new from Overfinch) and have Yokohama rubber on with tread depth of 6mm all round. They are available separately for £1600

it is a fair price and i'm surprised no one has bought it.....listing on AT will hopefully work ..

Re warranty. It is still under warranty as i haven't cancelled it yet. I pay monthly but i am sure the fact it is current would mean it could be passed over. Whilst i obviously cant give a warranty i would hope the history of the car and the fact it has been under LR Warranty for all its life would be a comfort.

I have receipts which are all main dealer. It has never been anywhere else all the time i have owned it.

May I ask what the monthly cost of the warranty is?

Might be interested in the car and wouldn't need finance. Just trying to decide if I want an L322 again having last had a TD6 back in 2010/11...

I pay £100.50 I think for the select warranty which includes breakdown cover. You can get it for £85 I think without the breakdown. That is Land Rover policy. Probably cheaper with other providers

The 4.4 tdv8 is like night and day compared to the td6. I don’t think you would be disappointed.

Thanks for the info. £100 doesn't seem bad given the potential bills. My main reservation is that I live pretty close to that there London and the ULEZ kicks in next year and charges are non Euro 6 diesels to drive in 24/7.. I don't go in very often but it might still be an annoyance and also may hinder resale values.

I have no doubt at all it's a totally different beast to a pre facelift 2005 TD6...!

Let me mull it over..

run the plate in the ULEZ checker and you may be surprised......
then print a copy and keep it just in case.  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

That's a shocker - my 2011 TDV8 is ULEZ checked as being excluded from the charge.

Didn't think it would be as although it's got DPF it's not got ad-blue.

we had a thread about this the other day. Looks like a cock up.... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
