Hi All,
08MY TDV8...mechanic has looked at why air suspension is playing up. He reflashed the RLM(no idea either) and now the car won’t go from standard setting but does through up a fault code for the front crosslink valve.
Has anyone changed one, know where it is and whether there is good chance I’ll blow my head off with many psi of air pressure?
Any top tips would be much appreciated.

The front cross link valve is behind the wheel arch liner on the Front Right
You don't have to remove the entire wheel arch liner to access it, just peel it forwards from the back, undoing the nuts as required.

Jack the car up and support on axle stands
Best to disable the EAS / disconnect the battery, then gently undo the pipe nuts on the valve slowly releasing the pressure
Could be that a dismantle and good clean up might resolve, if the valve gets any water ingress it can build up corrosion and seize a valve or two.

You may not thank your "mechanic" for reflashing the RLM..... .

Not the same valve, but some images of disassembly of the reservoir one, i have seen others with serious "crud" inside
