the emergency key fits inside the silver/metal bit,

No you dont lose it, the physical key also sits in there like the previous one did. Mine sits in the spare key so not in the pictures. Can post a pic if it helps Current:

Great instructions, for those a bit lazy ( like myself) for 21 stg you can buy the whole key , pcb included and reprogram with IID TOOL, only takes about 2 mins |

Im mulling over buying the IID tool too.. especially after the control arms change my suspension needs calibrater (one corner sitting an inch or 2 low)

If you watch Powerfull UK's video on Youtube he simply pairs a new key to the car without stripping anything down. He describes it as an aftermarket key as well. |

You will find it cheaper from your local RR dealer. I bought them for £6.
