| Vibration and lack of power at speed | |
Hi all,
My 2005MY TD6 has a judder/vibration that feels like the engine is missing on light throttle at speeds above 50mph. The car had a refurbished box not too long ago so don’t think that’s my issue.
If you floor it the engine picks up and all is well no vibration and it pulls well. Though sometimes when going up a hill I can be pushing the accelerator more and more but there is barely a reaction from the engine. No revs increase or acceleration. I’m suspecting injector(s). I had 3 refurbished when the gearbox was done so the other 3 are quite possibly original, car is just nudging 190k miles. So tonight I thought I’d Look into it.
Below are the results from a leak off test. #6 is on the left. 2 clearly worse than others but would this amount of difference be giving me this issue? I’m tempted to replace 5 and 6 injectors but wondered what others thought or if there is elsewhere I should looking. Rear left calliper is sticky but that wouldnt kill power up hill.
