Does anyone know the flashing LED codes on IID BT?

My newly purchased IID tool is flashing 2x red and 4x green. It won’t connect to my phone. Patrick at GAP told me to tighten and clean the OBD pins which I have done. However it still won’t connect.

I’ve already sent one back that wouldn’t update. I’m getting a little fed up now.

The pins are tight as it’s now a bit of a push to get the tool in.

Asking today (Sunday) as GAP aren’t open till tomorrow and I need to clear a fault. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

True. It was just a thought that it might be something to do with pairing. John

If you can see the IIDTool on the RR dash, but not the phone, then you may need to crack open the IID box and reconnect the BT module PCB to the main powered PCB thusly:

Worked for me this week after much frustration.
