D pillar trim clips

Hey guys.

Anyone know how to properly remove the trim clips on the side of the d pillar trim?

They have the middle bit which needs pushing in to be able to remove the entire clip but don’t want to push the middle bits into a cavity or anything? Regards

Daz

I've always just pushed them through.

It may be possible to screw something very small in and yank the middle bit out, but it's a lot quicker to just poke them through. Formerly happymadison1978

What happens when you push them all way through bud?

Can you recover the middle bits are do they fall into the car somewhere? Regards

I think in the D-Pillar they become an offering to the Range Rover gods.

I would replace them with the updated ones that you can lever out again, just in case the trims need to come off again.

I'm only just back in a Full Fat, and need to swap that trim as the seal is borked.

Cheers,

Halfords do them with a screw head centre the same size £2.90 for six in the small packs which are ideal for front and rear pillars Thumbs Up _____________________________________________________
