I've recently agreed to buy a 59 plate 3.6 TDV8 which has the facelift front grille and interior, but the triple slatted side vents for some reason. I prefer the look of the later mesh grilles and saw these on eBay but am unsure what the quality might be like. Am sure genuine ones will be better but I suspect they'll be ££££?

Has anybody had a set of these? Also, will the grey be the same shade as the front grill surround and door handles?

Land Rover missed a trick not making those silly little fletches into side repeaters IMHO, otherwise whats the point to them?

FWIW I think the verticals look best, especially colour coded.

There's a company selling 'genuine' autobiography front and side grilles on ebay for sensible money - is it bad form to fit AB parts to a mere Vogue? Is it viewed in the same light as M3 badges on 320Ds..?!
