Drivers door handle not working

Went to open door yesterday after unlocking and nothing. Censored

Climbed in from front passenger side and opened from inside.

Had a look at what people have done in the past, viewed powerfuluk vids and found that some of them didnt work. Evil or Very Mad

Any tips on how to get new cable in(already ordered).

TIA

It’s normally the “nugget” at the handle end of the wire that corrodes and snaps or jams. It’s not a big job if everything is loose and comes out ok. Mine was rusted into the hole so had to drill it out to get the new wire in. Once the door card is off it’s actually quite easy to replace (if everything is movable as I said)

Bonne chance mon brav! 🧐

Mine had seized at the handle end, had to take handle off to sort it in the end no way would it let go of the nipple, gave it a good dose of copper grease to delay it doing it again.

had to change mine the other week, same thing the nipple on the end snapped off the cable.

New one in yet now it seems to occasionally not open from the outside yet after opening from the inside it then will open from the outside for a bit before sticking again. I need to get it all off and clean/lube up the mechanism I think (next time the wife lets me have some spare time!) Whistle . Dan
