I have just read the white side lights, other people have had the same problem but it dose not say why this happens I’ve had a mate test the power going in to the lights and he is saying it’s the correct voltage so I’m now lost It dose say a lot of people remove the bulbs to stop this happening I had H8LL 35 watt bulbs in before so I think I’m going to change the bulbs to led and if I can’t repair the damaged bulbs holders I might just leave the bulbs out and live with adaptive light on the dash . I will try put some photos on

Are these the cornering lights? If so, they're not meant to be on all the time. I wonder if that's what's caused the heat problem? 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE

I now have both cornering lights working if I have cornering static bending light will I have adaptive head lights also because I’m unsure my car is Range Rover td8 hse LR20 how would I be able to tell if I have adaptive lights because there isn’t two ballasts on the lights and I’m thinking have the wrong lights been fitted to car when the up grade was done because I have the adaptive light flashing on the dashboard but don’t have two ballast on the bottom of the lights
Sorry not very good at this .

firstly, you say you have a 2007 HSE variant which doesnt exist....do you have a sport??

secondly , did you have adaptive headlights before the facelift??

thirdly , if you have adaptive light now then the cornering lights only come on when on when turning the steering wheel left or right...

this forum is for the larger range rover and there is a sport forum where you might get a more specific answer to your problem..
