I don't think it changes things much - you'd need to look at what is done at each service.

Same happened to me summer last year. When I asked the dealer the same question they said you stick to the same schedule ...which I guess is understandable. Though I will question any belts as I would like to think they didn't just put the old ones on the new engine.

What was it that originally failed on the SDV8? |

I believe it was the turbocharger that failed. Fragments of metal then found in engine requiring whole new engine, turbocharger, intercooler and air intake.

Thank goodness they didn’t see the failure as ‘wear and tear’!
