Guava Guildford - WOW

It's not often that I'm blown away with customer service in this country but it happened today.

On my travels to Guildford today I past the Guava premises and decided to pop in to ask if they could look at a knocking noise on my front suspension.

Now considering this an unprompted call, I could not believe how helpful they were.

Will (the Service Manager) was exceptionally helpful. He got a technician on the car immediately who then diagnosed the drivers side track rod end had gone. They then checked stock and asked if I wanted it fixed there and then. Not only that but at a price that was half of what I paid last year at local stealers for the passenger side track rod end. Better still when I mentioned the glowing reports from this forum he gave an extra discount!!

Even though it's a 70 mile round trip I have now pledge to take all my business to these guys. They take a genuine interest in you and your car at a price that's hard to beat.

I would urge anyone in the south east to try them out. 2011 Range Rover TDV8 4.4 Vogue SE

That's frustrating - they tried for a year to diagnose the knocking on the front of my car. They missed the anti-roll bar links were worn, my local mech here changed them for £30.

They fitted a freelander 80Ah battery instead of the 110Ah one, which explains the last 6 months of electrical gremlins...

They couldn't repair the front parking sensors as "all the wires had been cut at the front" - when I inspected they weren't cut, just the PDC module needed replacing.

Although I appreciate these problems may have been "one-offs"

Edit:
Forgot to say, they also said it was impossible to find a remote for the pre-heater... We all know how that story turned out.

That is a shame Dan, but I can only go with my experience today and I genuinely felt as though they couldn't do enough to look after me and my RR.

It was a refreshing change following the treatment I've had a local stealers.

Based on the above I'll certainly be going back to them. 2011 Range Rover TDV8 4.4 Vogue SE
