4 wheel alignment - Cause or not ?

This is probably a daft and lazy question but I will ask anyway.

Recently had 4 wheel alignment done. Now when I get over 70MPH all hell breaks loose. shaking through wheel etc.

all 4 tyres replaced and balanced a week before alignment took place SO question is could the alignment make a difference?

Or does mine have an inbuilt speed control monitor to save my license on motorway Rolling with laughter

Thanks all Thumbs Up

Alignment shouldn't make any difference or cause any vibration. Possibly a wheel weight has come off. Did they make any adjustments or replace any components?.

Have a look at both front wheels & look for any signs of missing weights, may pay to get them balanced again.

un-balanced wheels normally show around 55mph and 80mph...i'd check that all the bits have been done up properly..take it back and explain your problem..

Thanks chaps, will probably take it back, sheepish admission. 4 wheel alignment was done about 6 months ago and as it tows 95% of the time yesterday was the first time it has been at that speed since work was done Rolling with laughter
