G/Box 'Straining at the leash' when in 1st and stationary on

Recently started getting a bit of a straining through the box when stationary in Drive and foot on the brake. This stops if I pop it into Neutral, so been doing that every time I halt. Don't get any symptoms when oil is cold, only when oil is heated to running temp. No overheating of oil, has been checked on IID BT Tool, no fault codes and gearbox is perfectly smooth when changing gear, accelerating or slowing down, no hunting revs either. Had a G/Box megaflush done last summer, no problems encountered, and have previously regularly had the g/box oil and filter changed after every 40,000 miles. My Rangie does a daily commute of 110 miles round trip, so racks up the miles.
P.S. the Rangie (my05 TD6 Vogue) has just clocked up 298,000 miles!!

Questions are:
a) Could it be low oil level, maybe through a leak, not noticed anything from under the vehicle but may do further checking if it's a strong possibility?
b) Clutch plates need replacing?
c) Torque converter on its way out?

Am calling into my indy this Thursday to get her booked in to replace my rear airbags and dampers and the anti-roll bar drop links, so would be useful to have some advice from the experts on this forum.

Cheers guys and gals!! Bow down Bow down Thumbs Up

Hi
I'm interested in if there was any updates on this, anybody else have the same, or is that "normal"!? Previously......
Series 1 80, Series 3 88, Turbo 90, 300tdi 90, 110's with 200, 300, TD5
TD5 Disco, Disco 3, 200Tdi Disco - probably the best vehicle Landrover ever made,
Now 3x FFRR, some would say I should have learned by now......
