I have been offered £425 in part exchange for a set of L405 wheels £900 including delivery with 255 55 20 Verdi tires on that have only done 500 miles.
I enclose pictures of my wheels. I think this sounds like a good deal, what do you think?

If you mean £1325 less your £425 then too much but £900 less your £425 sounds like a reasonable deal

£900 for the advertised wheels and tyres less £425 for my wheels in part exchange. £475 to pay. Glad they are taking them in part exchange, saves having to have them hanging around and trying to sell them on.

Seems like a fair deal to me - particularly given the lack of hassle

Recieved the wheels today, absolutely brilliant, like brand new. I am going to try and put protective spray on the inner wheels before I put them on.

Any sort of quality ceramic coating will do wonders while they're already clean and off the car. One tip would be to use a fall out remover first (even though they're new) you'll be surprised how much can still come off depending on where they've been stored etc. Any contamination on them will reduce the effectiveness of whatever protection you're planning on using

I would recommend Gtechniq C5 wheel armour. I put it on the wheels of my Porsche from new and it has kept the wheels very clean and brake dust and dirt just hoses off

Good choice, it's very good stuff

You need to do them off the car to do the Gtechniq suff any justice. Wash, decontamination, wash again, polish, Iso Alcohol wipe and then C5 in a warm garage or in the house. The next day top up the C5 with Gtechniq C2 V3 Liquid Crystal and the surface goes like glass.

Once a month top up with C2 and a quick jet wash will be all you need to clean the wheels.

Its quite addictive once you get doing on this detailing malarky. Trust me  Current: FF Westminster money pit

Picked up a brand new sprinter Jack today £25. This is going to make swapping my old wheels for the brilliant new wheels I have now received
