its a 4.4v8 autobiography. i have had it from new, 2 years old. its had at least 10 updates to the software, been in several times for a noise issue which they failed to diagnose and fix until 3rd attempt which was a wheel bearing. The dealer principal at Carrs in Truro was absolutely useless, makes the right noises but has very little ability. LRA were useless other than the technician who came out, he was great very informative and did all he could. Said needs to go into garage but safe to drive with the orange engine light on, but may go in to limp mode, which is not safe to drive at all with my wife at the wheel, she would panic if she lost power doing 70mph up the A30!!

That’s terrible DrDill. You are absolutely right, for a car with that price tag JLR should have a personal rep contacting you to ensure you are completely satisfied. ______________________________

I have the SVD 8 in a sport 2.8 yrs old and just had the same turbo fault. Have to wait for the parts but this seems a common fault that only get attention when it occurs. expensive if the car is out of warranty. |
