Following the oil cooler repair I’ve still got oil weeping out of the sodden sponge in the undertray

I would just get the local Hand car Wash to jet wash it and leave it off the car to dry... |

Going to ditch the sponge. It just hides any issues....

It’s a while since I last removed all my undertray , but I don’t recall any sponge in there ?

It is not a sponge, is is thin,soft plastic sheath preformed with different size and shape cubes, it is designed to lesen the engine sound. I clean mine with oven cleaner and final rinse with brake cleaner. good as new, 2012 TDV8 Black Edition
