I had the same fault recently. Eventually I tracked it down to the right side inlet manifold/ rocker cover. Now replaced, all is well.

Not to worry you, but the part is £400 and it is 6h labour. I did it myself and I can report it isn't easy, but it's doable.

That is the standard failure point.

A few have had the manifold problem, however the majority of failures related to boost pressure can be be traced back to the split top right hand side intercooler to throttle body hose.

For reassurance, I would replace both sides at the same time, the LHS one is less prone to failure though.

For those reading this post in the future start here and work up in cost to repair......
