Having owned both (although not on LPG), I'd say definitely the Jag over the BMW. |

I would also recommend the Jag over the BMW when running petrol. I’ve never run LPG, but I have read comments that the BMW took better to LPG. I think it was to do with the valve seats on the Jag. I think there was an additive to protect them, but a Jag conversion was harder to do right. If you don’t have the conversion done yourself, you would need to ensure that it was done properly. |

Hi Mike. The JAG engine is better on petrol and needs valve lube fitting if converting to LPG. The BMW is virtually bomb-proof on LPG. Mine has had it for nearly 10 years and never a problem. always get it serviced yearly.
